Blooms for the Block & Project OwnerSHIP

Regular price $5.00 Sale

At least seventy high school aged students, over ninety percent of them identifying as either African American or Latinx, will transform a shipping container into a livable space that they will own and rent to tenants in order to earn profit and invest in their own futures. Throughout the construction process, students will learn crucial professional and life skills that will empower them to overcome gentrification and poverty within their own neighborhoods. Project Ownership will take place at One Art Community Center located at 1431 N. 52nd Street.  Our Goal is to raise $25,000 to make our dreams become a reality!
